I’m new to Houdini — where should I start learning?
Beginner
- Start here: https://www.houdini-course.com/ – It’s one of the best courses across all software tutorials I’ve ever seen.
Usually tutorials make me sleepy but this one is really good. - Then check out https://www.hipflask.how/ – Lots of information that I havent seen anywhere else.

Do I need to know Programming / Math to become good in Houdini?
Depending on what you’re trying to create in Houdini, coding might not be essential. However, I still recommend learning some basic to intermediate programming because the logical thinking you develop is a huge asset. It gives you the mindset for breaking down and solving problems.
For anything math-related I always rely on this book: https://gamemath.com/
Do you offer Mentorships?
I really appreciate your interest <3! I’m quite busy at the moment and can’t offer extensive mentorships, but I look forward to being able to help in the future.
While I’m not offering full mentorships yet, I do free critiques! Just submit your artwork, and I’ll record a short voice-over with feedback.
Are you available for work?
I’m currently employed as a fulltime in-house artist, but I’m always open to exploring new opportunities—if you have any work offers, please feel free to send them my way.
